I only found a couple of fun t-shirts at the swap this year... what do others think about the swap?
This was my first time at Nats. It was pretty fun. The swap meet was very crazy...

I think I met you (Aia), too. I was with nejanimb watching EV... I'm on his team.

Ohh, it was in a ROOM? I didn't get to go, btw.
Somehow, I always pictured it outside, with a bunch of umbrellas for shade, and HUUUUUUUGE crowds of people knocking the umbrellas over o-o;
I really wanted to go to Nats, solely because of the swap meet, because I'm not on the team xD

Who was handing out the pins with the M/U-tant Cow Pi? They look cool ._.
If somebody from that team reads this, then BRING THEM AGAIN NEXT YEAR >:U
Please. :3

Me too, but then I saw DS's picture from the meet, and I saw it was in a room. It seemed to be very big though, so that helps! :)

Our team didn't even get inside the main room. We were all outside in the lobby sitting on the floor.

We were there. I might have very well met all of you guys, but just didn't know it... :D

What did u guys get?
I got:
-A tin lunchbox with baseball-playing pigs on the front
-A plush Pillsbury Doughboy
-A horseshoe
-A piece of fossilized museam tile
-A squishy Virginia State tornament brain
-A Washington DC snowglobe which I gave to my coach because I broke her Witchita one

Someone even gave me a Bluray disc for 5 pencils! I don't have a Bluray though, so I gave it to a team mate...

The swap meet was in a gymnasium in '07 at Wichita; last year it was outside in a parking lot or something. I think it's usually inside, so they don't have to worry about moving it if it rains, but sometimes it is outside. And it's generally after dark, so there's no issue with umbrellas or shade.

The only thing I got was the free eggs of silly putty they were handing out. I actually did my best to get rid of all my stuff... the swap meet isn't really my thing.

Near the end when we only had like pencils and small things left, me and my friend were like, "Hey! Ya'll can have this for free! Take it!!" And most of the people wouldn't take it. At the last minute, we just handed all of our stuff to 2 girls.

Same here... I gave 98 percent of my stuff away to these Auburn kids.
