Nationals Medalist Scoresheet

Post by Deeisenberg »

Hey, I just whipped this excel up, it has some programming so that you just put in numbers 1 through 6 representing 1st through 6th in each event under the school that got the medal at award ceremonies. It will count each schools total number of medals, as well as number of each individual medal. I have it made up for both divisions, B is sheet 2, and C is sheet 1. You will need a newer version of excel to open up the file, there is freeware that will open it, but you would have to redo the formatting. It also has trial events (not exploratory events, they won't be announced at ceremonies) for 1-3, these are separated from the rest, however there is another column that includes trial events in the medal count. This will also tell you what the minimum possible score that the team could be assuming they got all 7ths in the events they did not medal in. There is yet another bar that will tell you the same thing, but it will add in trial event scores, assuming that all trial events that didn't medal got a 4th. I also have columns that tell you the highest possible score assuming anything you didn't medal in got 62, which is a disqualification. There is another column that does the same, but once again factors in the worst possible score in trial events. You can download this now at http://www.2shared.com/file/5722343/4b3 ... sheet.html

Also, just so you know, if you downloaded this before Mon May 11, 2009 8:43 am, then it is not the final copy, the copy up here now has been improved.

That's really cool. I'll mess around with that for a little bit.

That is a high quality spreadsheet. But we should probably be studying...

It would be pretty cool to see Augusta use this spreadsheet, haha.
