Yeah... technically he didn't leave the night before comp. He left the day before comp and got there late that night.

As usual, nobody told me until it was too late for me to worry about it (in this case, right before Experimental in the morning).

[Even though I'm one of the team captains, my team keeps things like this from me until the last possible minute- I'm not sure if it's intentional or not, though, since often I'm in events/studying/working on stuff the whole time beforehand. At States, we had a minor fiasco with one event, which I didn't find out until the middle of Ecology, my last event for the day. At Nats, there was this with the robot that they told me while we were waiting to go into the event; and as we were on our way up to get our 4th place medal for Crime, my partner turns to me and says, "Oh, did I tell you that I screwed up the chromatography?" Turns out everyone on the team knew but me.]

Lol, my theory is that they think I'll freak out... I don't know where they got that idea... I certainly never threatened to punch the kid who missed his event in the face... *cough*

we purposely didnt tell u about crime cause we knew that u would freak out on phoebe nd she didnt want u to yell at her
