National medals are large, maybe not double the size of our medals, but definitely bigger. Also they weigh much morefmtiger124 wrote:WOW THOSE ARE BIG lolcypressfalls_Robert wrote:They are about double the size...if i am certain
well are ur regional and states medals different sizes?
in NY the states are like double the regional but doubleing a states medal to make a national one would make a huge medal

Re: Anyone medaled at Nats?
Wouldn't those be really heavy though if you were really good and got multiple medals? State medals are heavy enough, and I got 4 of those last year.

Re: Anyone medaled at Nats?
i wish i could go, but my team is too dang small we would do well though b/c we are very motivated from being put down and stuff like that b/c we are small and homeschooled, but motivation is something that other teams lack

Re: Anyone medaled at Nats?
I got fifth in trajectory. I hit the pin three times out of four though, so I thought I would get first, apparently there was some very stiff competition. I've gotten several 7ths, 8ths, and 10ths, in the past three years, but trajectory was my only medal.

Re: Anyone medaled at Nats?
they seem a lot larger at first but i saw side by side the difference is slight although the mass difference might be caused by thickness....pjgscioisamazing wrote:National medals are large, maybe not double the size of our medals, but definitely bigger. Re: Anyone medaled at Nats?
They are thicker, shinier, and easier to show off!!!!
I've got 1 gold, 1 silver, and 2 bronze medals from Nats...and yes, when you have multiple medals, they are fairly heavy.
