Duke University Science Olympiad

Postby i8maps » June 3rd, 2017, 8:46 am

Hey everyone! Duke University's Science Olympiad organization is working to host a Division C invitational for the 2017-2018 season!

We are in the process of working with administration to be able to run a very smooth competition. Unfortunately, because the basketball schedule is not yet set, we are not able to choose an exact date, until August or September. We are looking to host it on a Saturday in late January or early February.

Please fill out this interest form, even if that time range doesn't work for you: https://goo.gl/forms/R3USXRDOYPyXxJC42 . We hope to see everyone there! If you have any questions email me at allison.rauch@duke.edu. Stay tuned on this thread for more updates!

Yep this would be a C division competition. Thanks for asking, I'll clarify that in the main post!

National event slate or NC? Or will you split it like Texas?

We will be running the national events with some of the NC events as trials! I hope that answers your question!

Glad to see that North Carolina is finally getting some much needed additional competition :). Hopefully Duke becomes a strong invitational in the years to come.
