I think that TailsFan put that in their signature to show their team's best scores at nationals this year.

Now that I look back at it (both mentally and in the video), the rest of the Opening Ceremony besides the keynote speaker was pretty good - Parade of States was probably the best of my three years at Nationals.

Maybe it just seemed good in comparison with the keynote speaker and the relentless Wright State advertising. Seriously, what the <redacted> was the keynote speaker talking about? It sounded more like crystal healing and alternative medicine than actual biology. And yes, we get it, WSU, the Wright brothers wore bowlers and flew planes.

Congratulations to WW-P South/Grover for winning 2nd/1st place at NJ States!

Don't you do Remote and Microbes though?

Also tbh the advertising was slightly less this year than in the past two. I especially liked that they didn't spend the first 40 minutes of awards on speakers like last year, and kept that all for the opening ceremony.

No, I understand what EM waves are, and I also know what bacteria are. I just don't think he put the two together into something that was understandable.

They need a keynote speaker like the one at SOUP. That one explained color theory.

Agreed. An example I remember would be MIT 2016 and probably 2015 too (I found the 2017 speaker to be significantly worse).

"Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward in heaven is great; for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you." Matthew 5:11-12

I have no regrets.
