By imperial decree of the Dark Lord, posts in General Chat will no longer count toward your post count. He had also the foresight to recalculate the existing post counts for all users with this new rule.

Previously, only posts in the Posting Games sub-forum did not count towards the post count, but this does not mean that Dark Sabre had been wrong prior to his decree. It means that he had ALWAYS thought that this was the right way to do things, but may have been too busy (lazy) to meddle with lesser issues like post counts.
