Re: Pictures, Videos, and Scores
Regionals yesterday, amazing scores seen. Division B first place was 3300, and this still shocks me. Their tower held all, no bend seen anywhere, and they walked home with that tower fully intact. I pursued a similar design earlier this year on my own, but was unable to keep it under 8 grams. First place for C was 2700, and they had an identical design as the 3300 tower with exception to one more bracing. Their tower held all as well, no bend seen again. My tower finally broke through the elusive 2000 barrier, with Balsa Mans design. I had been saving the best pieces I had been finding from the store for months, and had an amazing set of pieces for my legs. The final tower weight was 7.6 grams bonus C division. The tower fully exploded at 13kg, and this is the kind of break I like to see.

Re: Pictures, Videos, and Scores
I didn't see Daniel Wright's, but I did see Woodlawn's. It was a typical trapezoid design with ten x's, no ladders, no bonus. This is a pretty common design, but the density of the pieces must have been low and the build quality must have been really good, as it weight sub 4 grams.thegreaterhawk wrote:was woodland and daniel wright design a typical trapezoid design with X's? Very respectable score; nicely done!fdf4 wrote:Tower held 14875 grams and weighed 7 grams flat, 2125 efficiency! It didn't break and it would have held 15000 grams but the scoop couldn't get the last bits. Div C.
