'Mark forums read' error

'Mark forums read' error
The past couple days, when I've been trying to "mark forums read" using the button near the top right of the screen, I got this:
AJAX ERROR
Something went wrong with the request and the server returned an invalid reply.
Is anyone else experiencing this, and how can it be fixed?

I've also been experiencing this.
Events: A&P, DD, Circuit Lab
If you're curious...yes, I like rabbits.

I seem to be having the same problem I was experiencing seven months ago:
AJAX ERROR
Something went wrong with the request and the server returned an invalid reply.
Granted, it still works after the page is refreshed (as before), but I'm just wondering why this is happening.

Just tested, I'm experiencing this too. It only happens when using "mark forums read" on the main page - the buttons in subforums don't return an error.
