Hi there,

Sorry to revive this old thread---I've just come up with this problem--both in the fora and in the wiki.

Wiki:

Other LaTeX seems to work-

check check
$\text{I}^\text{am}_\text{very}^\text{good}_\text{with}^\LaTeX\\ \textbf{Ta-da}\\ \text{Here's a joke} \dbinom{I}{U}$

scratch that it doesn't work. for me. I have no blockage and I clean out my cache regularly. The fora stuff must be on my side.

However, the wiki thing up there in the Food Science Wiki article evidently isn't a viewing issue. Could someone fix that.

It was just a simple syntax error by whoever coded it. I fixed it just now.

Folks, my apologies. It appears forum $\text\LaTeX$ and the Staircase of Wasted Time have been down for quite some time, due to a technical failure on my server that runs those services. They should now be fixed.
