Information about our invitational tournament, held at Chattahooochee High School in Georgia, will be posted to this thread, as well as to our website.

The tournament date will be either December 9th, 2017 or December 16th, 2017 – dependent on building and room reservations and conflicts that we may not yet be aware of. We hope to finalize the date by late July.

Coaches, captains, etc. – If your team is interested in attending our tournament, we'd appreciate it if you could complete this interest form.

Various conflicts having intervened, this took a little longer than expected - sorry about that. Our invitational tournament will be on December 9th, 2017. Registration will open sometime in August. In the meantime, the interest form will remain open, and we encourage you to fill it out if you haven’t already done so.

The 5th annual Chattahoochee Division B Science Olympiad Invitational will be on Saturday, December 9th, 2017 at Chattahoochee High School in Johns Creek, Georgia.

Tournament registration is now open; the form can be found on our website, along with a list of deadlines, a tentative tournament schedule, and other important information. Registration will be limited to the first 48 teams, with additional teams placed on a waitlist; each school may register up to three teams. A list of registered teams can be found here. The registration form closes on October 20th, or when we reach capacity. The registration fee is $75 for the first team and $70 for each additional team. Checks for registration must be received by October 27th to reserve your team’s spots.

The registration form includes fields for schools to list their top six preferences of events to run – schools will be assigned events in October. Schools not selected to run events will need to provide an adult volunteer for tournament day (more info on this nearer to the tournament). After the tournament, teams will receive a digital version of all event materials in addition to hard copies of their tests and score sheets.

Due to increased interest, we have expanded the tournament to a maximum size of 52 teams. We have one spot left - after that, additional teams will be placed on a waitlist. See the list of currently registered teams here. The tournament schedule has likewise been updated to accommodate the additional teams.

The good interesting old days... Perhaps this year we can finally succeed in making a functional IKI solution.

The tournament website has been updated with a lot of new information:

• Concessions info
• Tournament map​ (in two formats!)
• Team numbers added to team list
• Rules clarifications & FAQs cutoff (for those who already know what that means, the date is December 2nd)
• Awards ceremony info
• Event session signups info
• Event assistants list
• Minor schedule change (room correction)
• Probably some other stuff (it's a lot, this list probably missed something)

Only three weeks until the tournament!
