Also, I'm kind of disappointed that people seemed really bored, were falling asleep during the performance. The Dvorak American is my favorite string quartet, but bit of favoritism aside, the audience really could've been a bit better behaved throughout the performance. But, I expect not many people are fond of Romantic-era music, not before awards. Good touch by Princeton anyway.

You can't be that mad about the clapping between movements, though, that was an honest mistake.

Teams were in high school... Most of them should probably know better by now. ;)

It was probably the best invitational I've ever been at in my history of Science Olympiad.

Any ideas when we'll be getting our tests back?

Your coach should have picked them up after the awards ceremony.

Ditto - if you're talking about your answer sheets, you should have received those yesterday in the orange envelopes that were handed out after awards. If you're talking about blank electronic copies of the tests and keys, I'm sure they're working on those right now, but I personally have no idea when you'll get those since I'm not behind that.

I'm guessing that if teams left before the end of awards, that test packets will be mailed to teams, or otherwise transmitted.

Herpetology: Great test, well written, they did a good job of having a variety of questions on each specimen and different topics. Fortunately they also did not just take the first image off of google, which is a plus.

Rocks and Minerals: Probably one of my favorite tests so far. They allowed us to carry streak test plates and hardness test materials to every station which was a first ever for me (West coast tests do not let us mark the minerals often  ) They also had very nice specimens all around which is exciting for someone who has an interest in the field.

Mission Possible: Well run and the proctors were very nice and followed the rules to the point, all while being open to us arguing for points.
