Brown University Science Olympiad is excited to announce Brown University's 2018 Science Olympiad Invitational Tournament.

When/Where: Brown University's campus located in Providence, Rhode Island on Saturday February 3, 2018.

1. The tournament is being run and tests are being written and supervised by experienced Science Olympiad alumni from schools such as Mira Loma HS and the Iolani School, just to name a few. All 2017-2018 events will be held at the tournament.
2. The tournament will be fully staffed and committed to providing a fun, efficient, and competitive experience. Tests will be designed to be challenging, but also accessible to less competitive teams.
3. The tournament is a great opportunity to interact with Brown’s prestigious science departments as well as Brown undergraduate students focusing in STEM.

Registration: Registration opens September 12, 2017 and is limited to one team per school. Registration is first come first serve and will close once 30 teams register. The cost of registration is $100 per team.

Hi there!

Since we're only able to accommodate 30 teams this first year, each school is limited to 1 team. We hope you're able to attend!

Honestly I like this policy; since so many invites accommodate multiple teams per school, this will hopefully allow more smaller teams to compete without getting crowded out by multiple teams of larger teams.

That's the idea! We really want this tournament to serve as an opportunity to build the competitive level of RI and the New England area.

Hi!

Is it too late to register, or will teams be put on the waitlist now?

Thanks!
