Good point.Unome wrote:Count the number of times you've complained about an event supervisor.19alekb wrote:Oh. Why don't you go back to the middle school or high school and help coach and be more involved?Unome wrote: Div D is slang for post-HS SO activities, most commonly event supervising.
Also, event supervising certainly counts as more involved, considering how much time it takes to ES at many tournaments.

Yes, it is unfortunate. But visits to your hometown can mean good old reconnections with ur old team.windu34 wrote:Most people move on to attend college either out of state or too far too travel back to regularly and lose that affiliation with their old team19alekb wrote: Oh. Re: Illinois 2018
While many move out for college, there are some old teammates of mine who attend local colleges who still help out on the team. Keep in mind that that's always an option if you fall into that situation. I'm taking that approach myself, while simultaneously participating in Division D next year. My brother and friend from my team (who are also graduating) are thinking of volunteering with me at Oakton and at ISO State next season, and we're already planning for it! So yea, for those of you who are seniors next season, know you can still do Science Olympiad after high school .

Re: Illinois 2018
If a team won from a regional competition who had a varsity and junior varsity, which varsity team will go to states?
I just want to know, because I might be in junior varsity next year.
