I'm assuming that Allendale will be run in Division C, even though it isn't posted?

Also, the plan is to run an invitational at UMich this year as well. The date and division(s) should be decided within the next week or so I believe.

I'm coaching at Allendale. Yeah, the invitational will be run.

Geez oh man... We already had four invitationals planned. We may need to drop one :P

The club got started over the summer (I was not involved in forming the club) and from what I can tell the plan is to host this year. We have to register our invitational with the state within the next week or so I believe. I recommended a time in earlier January (January 13?) to the founders of the club, but obviously there is a lot that goes into whether or not a particular day will work.

Source Code will officially be replacing Game On at the state tournament: http://miscioly.org/2018-source-code-ev ... formation/

This decision only applies to the state tournament; regional competitions may still decide to run Game On as an official event.

The Michigan State Schedules are up on the miscioly site; and they're going back to a triple block, including the self-scheduled events.

I'm part of MSU's Science Olympiad club, so I will hopefully be helping to run some events at state. Although I've competed in Scioly for 7 years in IL, is there anything I should know about how Michigan's Scioly tournaments are versus those of other states?
100% of deaths are somehow caused by science.
Don't be a statistic.

I'd guess Michigan is pretty similar to Illinois. Anything in particular you're wondering about?

It'll be interesting to see how this plays out: apparently Region 15 isn't having a tournament this year. Teams in the region will be sent to other tournaments. Not sure how exactly they are assigning the new tournaments for the teams.
