Texas only recently started this. I think last year was the first time they implemented this policy.Unome wrote:in fact, until now I didn't even know Texas did this

Re: Texas 2018
I like it, it makes ducking the heavyweights less prevalent, and actually penalizes the heavyweights slightly. I'd love to know how we stack up against beckendorf on my builds at the regional level so I can go improve on them before state. But I'm not going to those regionals if that means one less spot is advancing.

Does anyone know when Texas releases what the trial events are for next season?

Re: Texas 2018
Not sure specifically about Texas but at MIT top teams were getting upwards of 3 minutes raw time with chinooks, so around 8 minutes after bonuses. Clements was the only Texas school who medaled at MIT, so their times should be around 2:40-3:15 coming into state.Blonded wrote:Does anyone know the time and bonuses of the top helicopters?

Re: Texas 2018
Does anyone know what the raw scores were like for We've got your number at any of the regionals? Trying to judge how they are doing. I know it can vary a ton based on the numbers chosen (last years 4,7,7,7 was brutal at state)

Re: Texas 2018
I got 1st place at my regionals and I scored 187 on mine (I'm div C tho). But yeah state last year was terrible. I think I got around 154 and still got 2nd (i hate you clements)cool hand luke wrote:Does anyone know what the raw scores were like for We've got your number at any of the regionals? My normal scores range from 180-195, extremely hard sets anywhere between 150-170 (which is a pretty big range, but)
EDIT: Actually, since you're div B and can't use certain stuff, this post is probably pretty useless.

Re: Texas 2018
Well it gave me something to measure against so that’s better than where I was before. They did it twice and scored 157 and 160 with harder than average numbers. So your scores make me feel pretty good.rafaelnadal wrote:cool hand luke wrote:Does anyone know what the raw scores were like for We've got your number at any of the regionals? Does anyone have an estimated date of when the team numbers will be released for state?
