Congratulations to Goff for going to Nats with us! Congrats to Murphy for getting 2 points away from Goff! This state competition was especially interesting since during the entire awards ceremony, we thought Murphy was going to beat us. oof.

Well, congrats to Howard Goff! I don’t know anything about NY B but many here didn’t even have them in the top 5.

But I feel bad for Murphy. :/
Goff has been 3-4 the past couple years so idk why they arnt top 5 with other people. And yeah rip Murphy.

Anyone know if thieres full results or at least scores for top 10?

My point of view, as one of the Goff team members:

We were in shock, and I still am. We were sure we were going to get 3rd or 4th. We have only ever been to Nationals once, nearly two decades ago in 1999. Our district's high school, Columbia, is also at Nationals this year.

Any questions from the rest of the state?

I really think this State tournament was really weird. Again, the entire time we were thinking we were going to get 3rd, even during awards. Murphy lost by 2 points and if Eagle Hill didn't bomb Battery Buggy (39th, tiered for not labeling batteries) they would've gotten 2nd at the event, and 2nd overall, losing to us by 5 points.

We thought you guys would still win, but you definitely weren't on your A game. We didn't really notice Goff though, we thought Eagle Hill would get third.
