Awards was a roller coaster from start to finish. The score predictor spreadsheets had us between 6th and 15th at various times. Many events we hoped to medal in...we didn't. In the end though, consistency did pay off.
We thought we placed 11th again like last year. You can tell by our coach's reaction on stage lmfao.

I am incredibly impressed by Mason's national showing. They probably are the best performing first-time nationals team ever. It looks like Ohio may have four powerhouse teams in the years to come, if Mason can keep the momentum from a strong nationals showing.

Congrats to the winners of C, Troy!

Actually, Troy won the first time they went to nats, but otherwise this may be true, and it certainly is when applying to 2000 and beyond.

Not the first time, only after not making nats once.

Slauson MS and Seaholm HS both won Nats in their first year.
"Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward in heaven is great; for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you." Matthew 5:11-12

I have no regrets.
