Hmmm, I was wondering if you hid Fayetteville-Manlius in tiny font somewhere in there, but now I see that you have not.

I was wondering why Lower Merion was not getting more love vs. Conestoga.

I actually completely forgot about F-M...

Conestoga vs. Lower Merion is intentional. Historically the third place team at regionals seems to be the best non-Harriton bet to qualify (not that there's much reason to choose any of LM, Stoga, or Rustin over each other).

My gut still tells me the order behind Harriton will be Rustin, LM, Stoga, first because 4th to 2nd would be the most SEPA C thing ever, and because Rustin and LM showed a little more upside in invitational season to me than Stoga. Plus, by now, Rustin has staked a nice little recent claim to the second spot. Despite a strong regional result, I still see Penncrest as quite a long shot to jump to 2nd.

I will try to compile rankings myself soon; however, I think I'm gonna throw out a ranking for everyone regardless of state, just for fun, and bold the teams that I think will actually make nationals.

Interested in why Mounds View is super high? Just the ridiculously good state results? I think the 7-12 slots will have a bunch of shake-up. Also Chattahoochee seems low, but obviously you know a lot about them.

I've watched Mounds View enough to notice that they're likely to have a strong year this year. As for us, if we can keep Forensics and WIDI out of the 50s as they have been several times in the last two years we might break 500, but we're going to need significant improvement to go much beyond that. A lot of people on the team seem to not realize how competitive Nationals is (though hopefully MIT was a good lesson).

Based on the Colorado State University 2018 Wiki, there are 37 state tournaments remaining in both divisions, out of 50 B division tournaments and 51 C division tournaments (counting NorCal and SoCal as different tournaments).

Why is it 50 B and 51 C?
