Are micro controllers allowed?
Are micro controllers allowed?
Simple question are micro controllers allowed for braking because i am confused with the rules be cause it says "f. Only non-electric sighting/aiming devices may be used. They may be placed on the track and/or on the vehicle" So its not for sighting its for stopping is this allowed.

Re: Are micro controllers allowed?
It is not one of the allowed electrical components, meaning a form of mechanical braking must be designed
Re: Are micro controllers allowed?
Division B rules say the braking can be electrical or mechanical. If it's electrical it needs to run off the same battery pack as the propulsion.shrewdPanther46 wrote:It is not one of the allowed electrical components, meaning a form of mechanical braking must be designed

Re: Are micro controllers allowed?
true, but I find that to be highly unlikely considering the electrical components we are allowed to use.
