Tower Transportation
Hey, Bob here,
Any tips or ideas on storing a tower and moving it? Mine recently broke, and I was a little worried.
Thanks,
Bob

Re: Tower Transportation
I usually put mine in a box with styrofoam on the bottom and keep it stable with pins.

Re: Tower Transportation
I am assuming you don't push the pins into the tower itself.Cow481 wrote:Something like thisbobthebuilderman wrote:What do you mean by pins?Cow481 wrote:I usually put mine in a box with styrofoam on the bottom and keep it stable with pins.

Re: Tower Transportation
I’ve used a plastic container for storage and put news papers then coat it with bubble wrap. It isn’t good for plane rides though haha. My partners bring a husky box and bubble wrap which is heavy duty. Although, the box itself is quite pricey.

Re: Tower Transportation
I push them next to the tower on th inside and out to it doesn’t get loose and break inside the box.cheese wrote:I am assuming you don't push the pins into the tower itself.Cow481 wrote:Something like thisbobthebuilderman wrote:

Re: Tower Transportation
Sometimes, the simpler the better. I've carried around stuff using litterally a card board box the dimention of towers. just hold it tight and dont like bump into it.

Re: Tower Transportation
Just to brainstorm, what have you guys used for long travels on a bus or plane? Last year for nationals, a parent drove all of the way with a bunch of builds, but this year I doubt that. I will have to bring it on the 13-14 hour long bus ride.
