Thanks. I think the testing table was not level because it was guaranteed to get full hold so a score of 3239. I had tested another tower with exactly the same design and it held all 15 kilograms so was a bit disappointed.

Aw :(
3239 would have been a really good score at nats
but I probably wouldn't have even placed....

:| I got 29th with a score of 1533. 7.94 grams, bonus, held 7175 grams. I would say not bad for my first year doing building events. I had the second highest finish for my school in Towers, the best placing my school had this year was 26th in Battery Buggy (also me 8-) ). I have promised myself that I will medal next year at Boomilever and Battery Buggy.

Btw, does anybody have the full set of scores for Towers?

Lmao I'm pretty sure that everyone who does towers is gonna do boomilevers.
What was your best ever score? Like counting trials and stuff?

Cow, just because the design is exactly the same, does not guarantee identical results. No 2 pieces are exactly the same. Wood, by nature, is not homogeneous. Using the same design with similar mass and column densities could easily have results that differ by as much as 20%, which is why safety margins come into play.

Wait, didn't Solon win R&M in both divisions?
