Main difference I remember was a J-hook for mounting instead of bolt.randomperson123 wrote:were there any major differences in the rules from 2013 to 2014, I competed in boomilever in 2014 but not 13

Think there will be any major changes to the rules this year?

Unfortunately I last competed in this event for Division B so even if there are no significant rules changes, a new jig will have to be made

How would you make a jig for boomilevers, does anyone have a picture they can share?

I realize Boomilevers is part of a cycle, but this is just a guess right? I looked back and have seen other events besides towers and bridges. One was a B division catapult launch and others.

Re: Boomilevers 2019 (B/C)
Boomilevers is listed on the SOSI list for both B and C. Boomilevers has been run before, so SOSI is unlikely to discover some major flaw in the rules that would require a change of plan.builder83 wrote:I realize Boomilevers is part of a cycle, but this is just a guess right? Currently, I have multiple designs for a boom but I was wondering if you guys think a tension or compression boom is better?
