Turning

Post by CMS AC » March 29th, 2018, 4:34 pm

Is it just me, or does the plane turn more and in smaller circles with more torque, and larger turns with less torque?

Not you, inherent in the physics.
High torque at beginning of flight banks plane harder, giving smaller circle, low torque at end of flight banks plane less, opens up circle. That's why a well tuned plane has a number of adjustments to give a relatively fixed circle.

How would I compensate for this? I've had planes which turn right at the beginning and then start turning left...

What do I change on the plane?
