Lol, we thought history was useless, so we never, ever studied it, just shoved whatever we could find into a binder. It got hella longUnome wrote: ↑September 15th, 2019, 10:24 amflips through maybe 20 pages of old Machines binder (we barely ever used any of it tbh)AlfWeg wrote: ↑September 15th, 2019, 8:58 amflips through hundreds of pages of history in the Thermo/Machines binderBennyTheJett wrote: ↑September 14th, 2019, 7:29 am I don't really see them going too hard on the scientist aspect of it

Re: Dynamic Planet B/C
When the rules are talking about tidal resonance, does that mean things like the bay of Fundy? If it does, can someone explain how it works?

This binder thing is really definitely absolutely killing me.
How is everyone organizing binders? I tried using the rules organization but that doesn't seem to be helpful whatsoever.

I am also doing rules organization + a section where I shove every test I've taken in. My binder is honestly like a cheatsheet with bigger font and a ton of tests.

That's just all my binders
Yes, a striking example is the Bay of Fundy! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tidal_resonanceBennyTheJett wrote: ↑September 22nd, 2019, 5:58 pm When the rules are talking about tidal resonance, does that mean things like the bay of Fundy? If it does, can someone explain how it works?
Basically, the tide hits a resonance with the ocean, and reflections of the tide between the coast and the shelf edge run interference with incoming tides, making tidal waves higher.
The Bay of Fundy tourism site is surprisingly helpful here: http://bayoffundytourism.com/worlds-hig ... ides-work/

Re: Dynamic Planet B/C
Does anyone have anything on heat fluxes? Does it mean like ocean currents or is it talking about heat fluxes between the atmosphere and the ocean?
