alright thank you so much!bjt4888 wrote:Katie,
18 degrees angle of blade on the 2.75” dia. bottle. 15” pitch as measured at 2.7” prop radius now.
As I’m sure you realize, a pitch of 15” is a reasonable starting point for initial testing. Try more pitch than this and less. Less will probably match to thinner (lower density) rubber and more pitch will probably need thicker rubber.
The spreadsheet I am using was developed by an international class F1D flier.

it's not about the medals; go out there and have fun. make progress, learn a few things and have one heck of a time; that's all that matters.

Re: Wright Stuff C
nope its a 15% bonus i believe...not quite sure off the top of my head though (check the rules). make sure you read them closely to get the ideal panel color size for you.FermiGod wrote:For Division C is it necessary to have the wing colored black?

Re: Wright Stuff C
I was just looking at the score sheet for this and wondering if the measurements for wing chord and wing span are correct at 7cm and 35 cm respectively. This seems small even for wright stuff and even more so with the >8.00 g weight requirement.
