try something smaller than 1/8 x 1/8 but bigger than 1/16 x 1/16 if you have little or no experience doing balsa build events such as bridges or towers and move on to 1/16 x 1/16 later in the season, or just start out with 1/16 x 1/16 if you already have experience.

Easily scores of 1100 and up. The Palatine invitational had scores of 1000 and up for boom and those were the ones that medaled. Ohio I presume will be a lot tougher. (Palatine had teams like New Trier, Stevenson, Munster so it's easy to say that it was very aggressive.)

This is under the assumption of similar Div B and Div C scores, which I wouldn't necessarily say is true.

Ok. You have a valid point there but I still think scores will be in a very similar range. Probably 800+ for division B.

I think it’s easier for divisions B so the scores should be higher than Div C as if always has been.

In Ohio, I'd expect early season Division B invitational winners to be between 1100 and 1200. By the time we get to State, I'd expect 1500 to 1800 to win... maybe more!

I don't really know for division B, but I seriously doubt that that will be the case for Division C

I think in 2014, the div C winner hit around 2300
