Ao far, highest 2870, box design boomilever with Div B spec, 2340 can be obtained; tube boomilever, with div B spec 2260.

Epoxy glue for key joint and foam polyurethane glue (Lowe's gorilla expansion glue, you have to remove the extra glue) for secondary joint. It would take 24 hour to develop full strength. You may need to plan 3-4 days to make one boomilever.

Is the box design the compression box or a box made from sheets?

How does that work? Rolling balsa sheet? Just getting an extra light balsa dowel and screwing a hole in the end?

I agree, don’t you need a flat surface to connect tension to compression?
Personally, I wouldn’t try to overdo the design. Trying to put tension sticks on a curved surface seems too complicated. I tend to stick with a simple design and just trying to get that to get maximum efficiency with that boomi mass, then trying to dial down the boomi mass.

Bolt for the block was too short so they were tiered for it, even after they were told it was ok

So if 1200 was the score after the tier, how did they still get first?
