Does the dowel have to be stationary throughout the entire run for measurements?

Re: Stationary Dowel
There is nothing in the rules that states that it cannot move, it just has to be touching the cup and within vehicle measurement parameters in the "ready to run position".Pineapple.Master wrote:Does the dowel have to be stationary throughout the entire run for measurements?
I would get a second opinion about this just to make sure, or maybe you can ask for a rules clarification on that.

Re: Stationary Dowel
Its been done at a couple invitationals without any problems. I'm not sure how official tournaments have been judging this matterMTV<=>Operator wrote:There is nothing in the rules that states that it cannot move, it just has to be touching the cup and within vehicle measurement parameters in the "ready to run position".Pineapple.Master wrote:Does the dowel have to be stationary throughout the entire run for measurements?
