Dropped out a few weeks after registration stating some variant of "we don't have the resources to attend"..

Teams that sign up should have an obligation to go and not simply "drop out." It's not fair to those on the waitlist nor the TOs or even those teams that attend and expect a certain level of competition

PS: Also worth noting registration was free... so kind of not cool?

I mean, per PUSO policy, teams were allowed to drop out until 11/23/18, after which a $100 fine would also be needed to be paid. Anyways, it definitely would have been nice to see them come to Princeton.

I think this is the issue with having no registration fee. It would almost be better to have one as a "down payment" and then reimburse it later if they show up at competition
