Re: Georgia 2019
Big news from Brookwood,
1. Chattahoochee A (91)
2. Brookwood A (116)
3. Walton A (186)
4. Milton A (216)
5. South Forsyth A (216)
6. Northview A (225)
7. Johns Creek (255)
8. Chattahoochee B (258)
9. Brookwood B (311)
10. Westminster A (319)
This is the first time Brookwood has failed to win their invitational. Builds weren't included in the scores, although Chattahoochee would have won regardless, 134 to 138. South Forsyth also had a strong performance, putting a second team somewhere in the 10th-15th range. GSMST didn't attend, although their results so far aren't very promising.

Re: Georgia 2019
Also since I have them now, CSRA results:
1. Lakeside (52)
2. South Forsyth (63)
3. Lakeside (72)
4. South Forsyth (77)
5. Southeast Bulloch (112)
6. Augusta Area Homeschoolers (119)
7. Valdosta (166)
Nothing unusual here, just confirmation that Lakeside is still strong.

FSA Invitational Results:
1. WAAS (164)
2. Fulton Science - A (168)
3. South Forsyth - A (178)
4. Taylor Road - A (186)
5. Dodgen - A (191)
6. Five Forks - A (227)
7. Fulton Science - B (280)
8. Crews - Maroon (282)
9. South Forsyth - B (293)
10. Dodgen - B (305)
A&P was not included in the final scores due to a problem with the test.
The most surprising result is Five Forks' exceptionally strong performance - no other team seemed like they were anywhere near strong enough to challenge the top four, but Five Forks came really close. Vickery Creek's teams finished 11th and 16th, so I would say they're no longer in contention for a Nationals bid.

No problem. Should I consider the scores as of awards to be final? (for wiki upload)rfscoach wrote:Thanks for posting Unome! And thanks for running the scoring room and bringing me great GT volunteers!Unome wrote:FSA Invitational Results:

I should probably get around to making predictions for regionals.

Re: Georgia 2019
Predictions for UNG-Dahlonega:
1. Brookwood - Safer bet than Chattahoochee, having held on to their regionals title against the latter by small margins the last two years.
2. Chattahoochee - See above. Having potentially the three strongest teams in the state at the same regional again should be interesting.
3. Walton - Haven't really been strong enough to seriously challenge the above two, but they stand a good chance at finishing third at state this year. We don't have nearly enough data on GSMST to speculate on that though.
4. River Ridge - Perennial state qualifier, and finished 4th here two years ago under similar circumstances. They seemed to be slightly stronger last year than in the past, and haven't showed signs of weakening this year that I'm aware of.
5. Mill Creek - A tough spot to figure out, but Mill Creek has been moderately strong in the past and finished at around this range two years ago. I'm not certain whether UNG-Dahlonega will get 4 bids or 5 - it likely depends on whether the Div C state tournament is 30 teams now, rather than the trend of 24 in recent years.
Good luck to everyone competing tomorrow (pls send scores k thx).

Re: Georgia 2019
I forgot to write down scores, but I know it's something like this:rfscoach wrote:Any results from UNG-Dahlonega?
1. Brookwood
2. Chattahoochee
3. Walton
4. Chattahoochee
5. Brookwood
6. River Ridge
7. Chattahoochee
8 and 9. Brookwood and Harrison in some order, if I recall correctly
5 teams qualify for state (with Harrison being the last of them).
