No, but I would just base it off of last years list as I don't think much will change.beaker6 wrote:Anyone know when Division A/AA will be posted?

Re: Illinois 2019
Probably true. Judging from earlier posts, beaker6 is most concerned about B division. I think new entrant Quest is going in at AA - they finished 3rd at Neuqua, looked almost identical to the second place team, and finished above other teams that are usually AA. Of last year's AA teams, Lisle, Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Glencoe, Bryan, and Our Lady of Mount Carmel didn't qualify this year.TheChiScientist wrote: No, but I would just base it off of last years list as I don't think much will change.
Replacing them in AA will be Woodland, Quest, and presumably three other schools. Volta, maybe. Frederick, maybe. Hannah Beardsley, maybe. or possibly Rockford Christian. I don't think there's much data available to sort between these schools.

Re: Illinois 2019
Partially true. AA and A is more dependent on school size. AA for larger schools and A for smaller schools. After that, they add the smaller schools to AA based on their State results. Ex: my team is small yet in AA.19alekb wrote:AA is for the better teams and A is for the newer teams.

Re: Illinois 2019
Probably not but in theory, if you place top two or first overall depending on how many teams your state brings to nats you can still qualify for nats because it is the top scoring team(s) that go to nats overall.K2005 wrote:If your team only has gone to state for one year, is it possible to be placed in the AA division?
