Some, but not all, regionals are now available in Avogradro.

For Div C qualifiers look to be:

3. Collinsville (57)

COD:

1. Naperville North (25)
2. Hinsdale Central (63)
3. Naperville Central (77)
4. Fox Homeschoolers (90)
5. Benet Academy (95)
6. Lisle (110)
7. Lyons Township (131)

CLC:

1. Stevenson (24)
2. Vernon Hills (68)
3. Grayslake Central (82)
4. Warren Township (92)
5. Lake Forest (95)
6. Huntley (111)

3. Hersey (79)
4. Crystal Lake Central (98)

2. IMSA (43)
3. Metea Velley (59)
4. Waubonsie Valley (80)
5. Oak Park River Forest (97)
6. Oswego East (121)

Parkland:

1. University Lab (37)
2. Centennial (51)
3. Academy (92)
4. Mahomet Seymour (95)
5. Champaign Central (123)
6. Neoga (124)
7. University (127)

U46:

1. Belvidere (48)
2. Rockford Auburn (59)
3. Harlem (59)
4. Rockford Christian (76)
5. Durand (99)

WIU:

1. Rochester (53)
2. Canton (56)
3. Macomb (77)
4. Liberty (89)

I think I got the number of qualifiers from each regional right, but any errors (in either direction) are my fault. Congrats to all the qualifiers in this unusual year.

(I can't see the results from Oakton).

Of particular note are Naperville North, Stevenson, and UC Lab for dominating their respective regionals.

(Anyone want to speculate to what extent ISO will use the master regional scoresheet, that contains the state-wide ranked results of regionals, to do the A/AA grouping? It's got to be tempting just to take that master scoresheet, draw a line at position 25, and rank everyone above the line AA and everyone below the line A.)

I thought I had got the number of qualifiers from each regional right, but any errors (in either direction) are my fault. And it looks like I've got too many teams going through, assuming that we're still having 50 state qualifiers. So some teams that I've listed in last place can't be qualifiers. Congrats to all the qualifiers in this unusual year.

OK, The U46 results I posted above have changed. What's up now (and probably correct) is:

1. Durand (52)
2. Belvidere North (54)
3. Harlem (64)
4. Rockford Auburn (65)
5. Rockford Christian (82)

I was wondering what that scoresheet was, thanks for clearing that up. I wouldn't be surprised if ISO takes the approach your describing, but I still think it's likely they'll divide A/AA by each regional and split the lines there. If this scoresheet is ever released, it would essentially be a first trial of the state tournament (assuming everyone took the same tests? Idk, I'm not competing). I find that kinda cool.

Side note: It says on this tournament's website that there's only 3 bids for C. However, that number seems oddly very low considering how many teams competed. And, judging by the patterns we're seeing, about half of the teams from each regional are qualifying. So I wouldn't be surprised if they gave bids to the 5 teams above. Same with the results from down south, there's only 2 bids on the tournament's website. Then again, maybe that info isn't updated.

Yeah - at least some of the individual regional websites are from last year, although the U46 one seems to be up to date.

I bet they don't release it, because it will fuel the grievances of people who want to claim that they would have qualified had they been in some other regional. But I like data, so I'd like to see it ;) And yeah, I agree it's kind of cool that ISO has a state-wide regional scoresheet (the first time the whole state has taken the same tests at regionals).

In normal years, some regionals have had every qualifying team assigned to AA and others have had every qualifying team assigned to A, and some have been mixed. And they're usually pretty good at the splits - there's always a handful of A teams that place above the lowest few AA teams at state, but not many, and usually not by far. I think there have been occasional cases where an A-ranked team has placed above an AA-ranked team in the same regional ('cause traditionally the rankings use more than just regionals performance). But that master scoresheet has to look mighty tempting.
