According to the NJSO website, states registration will open in early January. No date for states yet.

NJ Registration is open:
Fee has been dropped to $125 compared to $250 in previous years
Coaches should register following the steps at https://njscienceolympiad.org/registration/index.html
States is on April 13-15. Two event blocks are held each evening from 4:45 to 6:00 pm. The tournament will be held via scilympiad but the site isn't up yet.
Awards is on April 23.

> The list of events to be held at the 2021 Virtual State Finals Tournament will be posted on or about February 1, 2021. The event list will be a subset of events from the Science Olympiad Rules Manual with modifications made for virtual competition. Replacement events may be used in cases where a similar event is possible to an event that is not possible in a virtual competition.

Guessing they're running short on ESs this year. Please consider volunteering and running an event; it'll help us out a lot.

51 C, 29 B teams as of now. 51 figure is slightly less than it should be - it should be around 55, with hopefully 60 or 65 registered by the deadline. If 1) wyoming drops, 2) west virginia drops, 3) alaska declines their bid, then we have a shot at 2 bids for nats.

School Prediction rules: Submit once. Vote for one school at most once and no more. You will get 5 points for predicting a school on the dot, 3 points for 1 off, 2 points for 2 off, 1 point for 3 off, and none for more than 3 off.

Event Prediction rules: Submit once. Your score is the sum of all the event placements of each of your school choices. In the case that a school sends two teams, the event placement will be the higher of the two. You may select one school up to TEN times.
