The members of the New Jersey Science Olympiad Steering Committee, in collaboration with our tournament hosts, are analyzing options for the 2021 season, given the current COVID environment, including in-person and virtual competition options. To help us understand what options schools may be interested, or able, to participate in, a brief survey will be sent to the coaches from the ’20 season. Normal registration deadlines will not be in effect for ’21. We will provide more information as soon as possible.

NJ Updates:
- No regionals
- One miniSO state tournament sometime between March and April
- Team limit is down to 15 students
- Possibility of having more than one team from each school
