With the final regional (regionals? Southwest and Southeast combined into one, but might have separate scoring or something... not entirely sure what's going on there) in a just two weeks ( ), we have a pretty good idea of team participation based on scilympiad registrations.
Unofficial, but probably pretty much Final Numbers
Division B: 14 schools, 20 teams
Division C: 15 schools, 20 teams
New Mexico definitely took a pretty large registration hit this year... we likely won't even hit our usual capacity of 25 for the state competition.

If there are any NM people out there who check this, there was an update on the NM State Scilympiad.
NMSO wrote: State Science Olympiad 2022 will be held February 26th, 2022.
The current plan is to be in person pending COVID restrictions and guidelines.
