Either way, South beat North by just one point, so it's pretty much impossible to accurately predict the winner at this point, especially given that both UCC ran 14 (I think) events out of 24/25 (23 regular events + 1/2 trials, which ARE counted in NJ ). I would put off NJ predictions at least until after PUSO.

Actually, now that I think about it, I'm betting on JP Stevens because the team that came 3rd at UCC won states each of the last 2 years... :P

Hehe very true (and yeah it's way too early considering the lack of events at regionals and the official counting of trial events; also it's still 2 months until states so anything can still happen) And hey who knows? Thanks for the confidence lol; I hope we can actually do it :| (that is a very interesting trend that I hadn't thought of)

I'm pretty sure North got 3rd at regionals last year. NJ regionals are not very useful for predictions.

I think the upcoming SOUP and Cornell invitationals will be useful in taking a guess at the national placements. For div C at SOUP, you have Mason, Troy(Cal), Harriton, Lower Merion, LASA, New Trier, and West Windsor N/S competing. For div C at Cornell you have Camas, Solon, Northville, Shady Side, Fayetteville Manilus, and Ward Melville competing. All in all, there will be a lot of information about many of the nation's top teams on that weekend.

Do you think, DuPont Manual will get the Kentucky bid this year?

I have to say the Illinois teams, New Trier and Adlai E. Stevenson look quite strong based on the Solon results.
