Assuming NorCal does not cancel, will SoCal's second bid go NorCal?
I wouldn't say so, as NorCal (as an individual entity) won't be next in line, it'd be Texas (if i remember correctly)

The usual two bids per division are assigned to California state, and the two organizations (Northern California and Southern California) agree (with recognition from the national organization) to each take one bid per division.

So would it be possible for two North California teams to go?

I could see it happening, maybe, but as bernard said earlier this is a pretty unprecedented situation overall so it's really hard to say anything.

Okay, thank you. I'll be curious to see how this plays out.

Another harebrained East idea. If NorCal continues as planned, let certain SoCal teams compete there. Based on last year's top 5 or 10, and/or top 2 at regionals this year. Have it be a normal 2 bid tournament.

With rumors of New York states being cancelled, would it be possible for some of us to compete in other states if that happens?

Yeah, but would SoCal's team amount actually count? Like would California even have two bids if SoCal's teams don't add to NorCal's #?

Yes, solidly so.

Yes, solidly so.
Would SoCal teams then be allowed to compete in NorCal's tournament if they count towards the amount of bids that the NorCal tournament gets?
