Potions & Poisons B

Postby Galahad » November 7th, 2018, 10:38 am

I’m pretty sure I didn’t see one of these so I decided to make one.

I’ll start

What is the difference between a polar and nonpolar covalent bond?
And so the grind begins.

Polar covalent bonds is when an unequal amount of electrons is shared. Nonpolar is when an equal amount of electrons is shared.

Question:
1. Is saltwater a mixture or solution
2. Is saltwater heterogenous or homogenous
3. Name one way to separate the salt from the water

same difference

1. What is the difference between an inter and intra molecular bond?
2. What is an example of an intermolecular bond? (Chemical formula)
3. What is an example of an intramolecular bond? (Chemical formula)
And so the grind begins.

answers
1. Henbane
2. Subtract the the higher electronegative element from the lower electronegative element
3. A cation is a positively charged ion. This can be calculated by subtracting the number of electrons on the Ion by the protons.
