I'm not really sure, but is it this?
this is the answer

Looks correct to me, since the original question poser has been inactive
If life gives you melons, you're dyslexic.

Why can't dinosaurs ski? Because they're dead.

Season's over, I can sleep now.

Since this is dead already...
1. Which aquatic macroinvertebrate is depicted in this picture?Image

2. What is the typical timespan over which BOD is measured?

3. True or False: Turbidity is affected by seasonal changes.

Answers:
1. Riffle beetle larvae?
2. 5 days, optimally 20 days
3. True
Last year I knew stuff about rocks, minerals, experiments, and ecosystems, yay!
Now I know stuff about amphibians, reptiles, water, and more experiments, yay again!
I'm planning to learn stuff about oceanography, fossils, water, and birds, yay for the third time!

Questions:
1. What is the difference between phytoplankton and zooplankton, and do they reside in lentic or lotic ecosystems?
2. How does a Secchi disk work?
3. Identify these two aquatic macroorganisms:Image

Answers:
1. Phytoplankton are autotrophs, meaning they produce their own energy while zooplankton are heterotrophs that consume other organisms for energy. They reside in lentic ecosystems.
2. The disk is lowered until it is not visible and that distance is measured to the nearest tenth of a meter.
3. I'm gonna guess... I have no clue. Mosquito and blood midge because why not.

1. Great answer.
2. I was looking more for how does it measure turbidity, but I guess I should have been more clear when asking. Your answer is good.
3. Crane fly and water mite larvae.
Your turn!

Questions
1. The blood midge contains large quantities of what protein that gives them their red color?
2. Disinfection of wastewater typically is done by what two substances?
3. What anatomical feature of mosquito larvae allows them to obtain oxygen above surface level while the organisms are still submerged?

For 2, I was looking for chlorine and bleach. Everything else is good. Your turn.
