Ohhh your answers make so much more sense. Yeah I do know trig, but I wasn't thinking very hard  I made way too many silly mistakes :( :?

I'll try to think of a problem soon. This was a great one!

For 2 points, I will revive this thread (oh wait, I'm dead, nvm). Current Assassinator game, for context

More hand-drawn diagrams! The block in this scenario has a mass of 200.0kg. The coefficient of kinetic friction between the cast iron block and oak wood floor (those were easy to look up, okay?) is 0.485. Assume gravity is9.81m/s^2. Each graph paper square on this diagram represents one square meter.

Image

Answer all of the following with appropriate significant figures, if applicable.
  1. What is the system formed by pulleys 2-5 known as?
  2. What is the IMA of this system?
  3. What is the AMA of this system?
  4. What is the efficiency of this system?
  5. If the block is dragged two squares right (in the imperfect, not ideal system), how much work was done?
Edit 1Fixed directions, Right, not left.
Edit 2: Parts C&D are impossible

It's okay small stick person. I care about how much effort it takes you to drag a cast iron block that's as tall as you with a wack giant pulley system. (I'll wait a few more days and then assume I've killed the marathon and post a new question).

Actually... I can't see the image. What would be the best day to view it?
2018: Hovercraft, Thermo, Coaster, Solar System
2019: Thermo, Circuit Lab, Sounds, Wright Stuff
2020: Circuit Lab, Wright Stuff, Machines
2021: Circuit Lab, Machines, WIDI, anything but Wright Stuff

Can I request that we delete 2020 from our memories and do it over again?

Thanks, Umaroth for pointing out that you can't calculate the AMA of the system, thus making parts c and d impossible.

Nope, It wasn't! When in doubt, I probably wrote the question wrong...
