Melanoma - 1% of skin cancers, very rare, deadly, very low survival rate & poor chance of cure & metastasizes quickly
5. Some common treatments are auto grafts, or cadaver or pig skin replacement

hMmMm it's taking a bit for whoever's questions I answered to be checked so imma ask some new questions. Take your time checking my answers though, I don't want to rush you!

A 45 year old woman comes to you complaining of widespread muscle pain throughout her body, mainly around her leg and shoulder areas. It has been occuring for 4 months, and is accompanied by general fatigue and a few cognitive abilities.
1. What condition does this woman have?
2. How would you diagnose this disease? (what tests do you do, the test that will give it away that they have it (if that one test exists), etc.)
3. Provide treatment methods for this disease.

4. What is the difference between a boil and a carbuncle?
5. Why are tanning beds more dangerous than natural sunlight?
6. Why do calluses form?

7. How many bones are in the axial skeleton, and what bones are included?
8. Describe the bone repair process.
9. Explain the importance of Vitamin D in mineral absorption.

1. Fibromyalgia
2. Blood tests?
3. Pain relievers, antidepressants, anti-seizure drugs

4. Boils are caused by Staphylococcus aureus and are large painful lump on the back of the neck, softens over time, not caused by injury. -caused by skin infection of hair follicle or gland. - start as red, tender lumps. These fill with pus, grow, then rupture and drain, and are on hairy areas w/ friction & sweat A carbuncle is a cluster of boils.
5. As it has more harsh UV radiation, it can lead to a greater incidence in skin cancer
6. They form as a result of the skin trying to protect itself from friction and pressure

7.80 bones - sternum, vertebral column, ribcage, skull bones
8. Hematoma -> fibrocartilaginous callus -> bony callus -> remodeling of bone
9. It can increase absorption of many organic components of the bone, especially Calcium.
Also, I probably got some (or all) wrong

All good, except 2, because there are no certain tests for fibromyalgia, you would just have to do multiple tests and exclude all other conditions Thanks so much for reviving the marathon and keeping it going! :D
