I so upset about this....... I wanted rocks my senior year so bad it's not even funny. My second favorite event of all time, and I won't get it my senior year.

They said that the "2020 rules will be replayed" and Fossils was a part of the 2020 rules, so I assume so.
I also go by Chino.

I'm happy the event is back because then I'll be able to do at least one event I'm familiar with next year in Div. C, but I also think that replaying the rules is only going to make placing in this event much harder for me next year since I may as well end up with seniors who have been doing the event with the same rules for three years in a row.

What changes (if any) would you like to see to the Fossils list next year?

Personally, I would like them to add more specific genuses and species to some of those orders or classes that have none listed yet. Like for example, a specific genus in the class Echinoidea. I would really enjoy if the list was more taxonomically specific.

Also, I think it would be cool if they added more rocks/minerals to the list, since some people who are seniors might miss out on competing in Rocks due to the whole 2020 rules replay situation.
I also go by Chino.
