A. A modified guanine is added to the 3’ end of the transcript
B. Exons are spliced out
C. A string of adenines is added to the 5’ end of the transcript
D. All of the above

What answer choice do you think it would be?
The answer key says D, but I disagree because introns are spliced out, not exons.
Yes, I agree. The answer should be B as far as I can tell.

I think D means that "all of the above statements" are incorrect. A is incorrect since the guanine cap is added to the 5' end, not the 3', and C is incorrect because the Poly-A tail is on the 3' end, not the 5'. You guys already established that B is also incorrect, so the answer would be D.

The answer key is correct; the guanine cap is added to the 5' end, and the poly(A) tail is added to the 3' end.
"Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward in heaven is great; for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you." Matthew 5:11-12

I have no regrets.
