how do i choose what kind of notes i should put in the cheat sheet

basically just choose anything that you don't think that you are able to memorize. If you can't memorize stuff on a certain diagram then it might be best to put that in your cheat sheet, as well as names for specific things and origin/insertions of muscles and other things like that.

Any 2020 season tests yet? Would 2016 tests be okay to practice with?

Yes! The 2016 Rules is identical to the 2020 rules. Still keep a lookout though for 2020 exams because invitationals have started.

Yeah! You need to know both the axial and appendicular skeleton so the more you know, the better. I would check the official 2020 rules so you can see what you need to know and what you could be tested on.

how in depth are you guys making your notes? there's a list of muscles we need to know on the rules, but beyond that, should we start out basic? for example, there are basic names for bones but there are also names for specific parts of each bone. should I go pretty in depth or stay general?

I believe it states on the 2020 rules that you can be asked questions on the specific anatomy of bones, so I recommend learning parts of each bone.
