A track diagram for Mousetrap Vehicle has been posted to the national website.
This is truly the coolest of diagrams. I'm looking forward to running the event at Chattahoochee in a few months.
whats different of this diagram then other years?

Bigger wheels, adjust kill arm length, increase/decrease axle diameter. Make a lighter car. Lots of youtubes on this.

Lots of wheel options. Google hobby wheels. We printed ours.

Hey, I got 4 bearings for my mousetrap vehicle, but now that I'm using them, I'm wondering if they might be too heavy. What are your thoughts on bearings? Also if bearings are too heavy, what are other options for reducing the friction in the axles?

Bearings are worth the weight unless you're using insanely large ones, in which case you probably consider smaller ones (ex. 3/16"). You can also add graphite

Just out of interest even though this subforum isn't active I was wondering how teams are getting high speeds and 12 meters?Because we can't seem to do it.

What would be a good material for my drive arm? Right now I have a fishing pole but it is bending so it is not working that well.

Does the type of string have an impact on the distance or speed of the vehicle?
