does it have to be a mousetrap or can it be a rat trap

Are we allowed to 3D print parts of the mousetrap's base to act as a slip-on? Our team researched for a while but we couldn't find an answer.

What is a slip-on? If you mean print a mount that holds the trap, that would be fine as long as you do not modify the trap.
