This is my first year doing a building event... So what dimensions of the wood do I need? And does the Balsa USA send a case of the selected wood size or one singular piece?

The sizes of the wood really depend on you and your design. A lot of people recommend overbuilding your boomilever then taking out excess weight. My first boomilever I just used wood I saw, but after some experience, I kinda got the hang of what wood might work best for my designs. I don't know much about specialized balsa and Balsa USA because tbh I just buy wood from local stores.
