Re: Times and sec/ft
How's testing going for everyone? I've been finetuning my parachute that I mentioned earlier on in this thread and today it just achieved a new record.
38 seconds in 27ish feet or 1.4 s/foot
Though, I feel like this record may be partly due to luck as I was testing in a gym with HVAC and the drafts may have been pushing up slightly giving it more time.

Had some good testing this weekend. 24 sec in 27ft once. Consistantly 20 - 21sec in 27ft. HVAC definitely makes a difference.

21 in a 21. It’s really hard to get the deployment right.
Carbon Fiber and glue are all you need for flying events

Re: Times and sec/ft
My most recent test was a 10.1 g boom and it held like 14 ish kg. I'm pretty sure I know the problem though so hopefully I'll be expecting to get down to like 9.5 g in the next couple of weeks.
I'm amazed by your progress in Boomilever! 10 g in such a short time is unbelievable! At this rate, you will be at 8 g in no time!
