Parachute

Post by astronomybuff »

Is there a guide you guys use to make a parachute, or is it ok to just make a basic one? This is my first time doing this event, so I'm not really sure. I've heard about the parachute templates, but which one is the best?

I prefer using a circular parachute. this means that you can just keep folding a sheet of material around a centerpoint over and over until it becomes pretty narrow and you can just cut across your desired radius. This will be pretty much a circular parachute. If you're going for octagonal, i think that nerds inc sells a guide but don't quote me on that.
